When does overtime start?
Under federal law (FLSA), overtime starts after 40 hours per week. California requires overtime after 8 hours per day.
How is overtime calculated?
Overtime is calculated at 1.5× your regular hourly rate. For a $20/hr worker, OT rate would be $30/hr.
